The primary role of the District Attorney's Office is to review allegations of criminal conduct and pursue just outcomes accordingly.

The District Attorney and his deputies are charged with seeking the truth and pursuing justice. In our continuing mission to protect the community, seek justice, and to hold offenders accountable, most of the office’s efforts are directed to prosecuting cases. Prosecution includes the review of reports and conduct of described criminal activity for a decision whether criminal charges are appropriate. Prosecution will also include the case management of criminal files, legal analysis, negotiations, and courtroom advocacy.
