On-Site Services

On-Site walk-in services are available Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 445 Third Ave SW, Albany, OR 97321. The same services are available by phone, call 541-967-3866 (press 0).
If you would like to speak with a crisis worker face to face, then you will want to arrive before 3:30 pm to allow you time to complete important paperwork.

Off-Site Services

Risk assessments and crisis services at the (3) area hospitals, the Linn County Jail, and the Linn County Juvenile Detention Facility.
Community crisis service outreach

After-Hours Services

Crisis support by phone with our 24/7/365 contracted crisis line support
Consultation support for community partners
Emergency risk evaluations (tele-health and in-person) at the (3) area hospitals
Hospital and emergency room diversion support

Eligibility Screening Initial Contact

A resident of Linn County wishing to speak with a Crisis worker and/or inquire about mental health services with Linn County Mental Health can call or come to the Albany Walk-In Clinic to discuss eligibility, resources and options.

Mental Health Promotion & Prevention

The Linn County Prevention Program is part of a regional mental health promotion and mental illness prevention project. Regional partners include IHN-CCO, Benton County Health Department and Lincoln County Health Department. Current outreach includes Mental Health First Aid classes (Youth & Adult) and "Question. Persuade. Refer." (QPR) suicide prevention trainings.

In an effort to promote mental wellness and prevent suicide in our community, the Linn County Alcohol and Other Drug Prevention Program offers the following trainings.

Suicide Prevention

Each year in Linn County approximately 30 people die by suicide, and 70% of those people tell someone or give warning signs before taking their own life. Studies have shown that over 90% of people who die from suicide have one or more psychiatric disorders at the time of their death. Luckily, there are ways to treat and control these disorders and potentially prevent suicide.
